Progress:
-Cemented and sanded parts that can be sealed before painting.
-Removed the armor seams on the second pair of arms (since, technically speaking, there are no Nadleeh arms within them, so those don't need to break open.)
-Tightening joints and polycaps with Bosny flat clear.
-Cemented and puttied the shoulder mods where the second pair of cannon cases mount to.
Since I wasn't too busy today, I took pics as I went on to continue sanding down the plastic and cement.
Flat black base coat for the gunmetal. No seams here.

WIP: 1/144 HG Virtue Gundam Part 4
UPDATE!
Can't seem to find a Virtue anywhere so I got a Trans Am one. I'll paint it anyway.
Not very menacing in a calm pose.
Then, try this.
This too. Yes, he'll definitely need a display base.

WIP: 1/144 HG Virtue Gundam Part 3
UPDATE!
Initially, I wanted to put hip/waist mounted weapons on this. Say, like those from freedom but mainly, blast impulse. But I couldn't find a 1/144 FG Blast Impulse in Megamall today so I went home empty handed. But when I got home, I realized now what I really want to do with this kit. Bash it with another Virtue.
It'll sport four arms, two bazookas, and four pairs (eight barrels) of GN cannons.
Seen here is burst mode. On a regular Virtue, the chest opens and reveals a GN condenser to be able to feed power to burst mode. I got that taken care of because I'll be putting GN condensers on both shoulders on the first pair of arms. Two arms on either side will hold a bazooka to each front shoulder.

MG Wing Gundam Ver Ka Wing Mod
Greetings! This is the wing mod for the MG Wing Gundam Ver Ka. It'll allow the wings to pop open to six different wing pieces instead of the initial two big wings.
Xy got me early Christmas presents which included the knife I used.
Materials needed:
-Hobby knife
-Varying grit of sandpaper
-Plastic cement
-Putty
-Wing Ka (kahit pakpak lang XD)
1.1. Cut the pink lines with your knife.
-The white and red parts to separate.
-The blue part near the backpack joint and the large yellow part to allow room for movement.
1.2. The pink circle represents a male-female peg on the blue piece. Trim that off.
1.3. The red circle and red line represent points of contact for the would-be moving parts. Cut carefully and make sure they allow for movement.
1.4. The green line is optional. I cut mine off.
2. Cutting's the easy part.
3. Cement and putty.
4. Let dry, let cure, cut out the excess putty and sand.
And there you go.
Here are some more pics of the wings after I finished sanding. Enjoy!
Enjoy!
I hope this helps the next guy that builds this kit!
Comments and criticisms welcome.

WIP: 1/144 HG Virtue Gundam
Before the operation:
The Virtue was built nine months ago. The builder (moi) made a terrible noob mistake of using pylox paints. Since that day, this model started to chip and get ugly. Time for a new look.

Gundam To-Do List
Haven't posted anything in a while, yeah. Busy busy. For now. I'll list down my Gundam "to-do" list so I don't get mixed up with three unfinished works on my table XD
Finish Universal Century -In Progress
-Only finished Crossbone and Stardust. Now watching 0079.
Buy -Done!
-Xacto knife, sandpaper, putty, primer, polyurethane reducer (good substitute for Tamiya cement) and paints.
Finish Virtue -In Progress
-Custom stuff. I stripped the old paint and adding plates.
Finish Over Flag.
-Same as Virtue. Repaint and I'm gonna add a GN Drive.
Finish Astraea.
-Just minor paint job tweaks. Otherwise OOB.
Finish Wing Ver Ka
-I'm planning dark paints on this. Also do mods on the wings and add the samurai mod if I get to plan it right.

In Brightest Day, In Blackest Night
Over the past few weeks, releases of DC's Blackest Night came with rings from different lantern corps. The Black Lantern ring came out a few months earlier, and the colored ones came out in two's every week this November. Just last week, I finally had the last two, the red and the green.
So, picture.
A little bright for Sinestro.

00 Gundam Custom
Okay, I've been meaning to post about this since I got the kit, and now I've finished it and it's time to review.
Contents of the kit.
Overview
The good.
-This kit has great posability, despite not being a Master Grade. A wide range of motion on the Twin drives, feet, legs and the arms.
-All weapons can be stored on its body (blades, sabers and swords), which is a big plus for me 'coz I hate it when they have more weapons than they can carry. Why? 'Coz that means you can't display it with all its weapons at once. But that's just me.
-Weight distribution is great. It never tips over unless you made it to. The feet moves in all directions with swiveling horizontal and vertical joints, plus the typical ball joint where the entire foot assembly attaches to the leg.
All weapons on, no tipping over.

Life's grand.
Wednesday:
I finished my 00 Gundam. Will post in Arxy in a bit.
Friday:
I have a new job (yay!). HR interview went well, Technical lead interview went awesome, and I scored above average on the exam. Cool. Seems I wont be poor this Christmas XD
Saturday:
I went to Megamall to check out the model kit displays. Of course I only took a quick glance on the ships and tanks and planes, and headed for the Gunpla and started chatting with the guys there. One of MechaPinoy's moderators, Michael Tan, welcomed me into the community even before I got to register an account in their forums. He even made a joke about his name being the most common Chinese name in the Philippines. Hehehe.
Sunday:
It's today and I'm still awake and the internet's not failing, so I guess that makes life grand today XD

Wishlist!
Someone get me all of these and I swear I'll be your bet friend forever. Anyway, I'm heading to Baguio in six hours and I'm killing time now so I can sleep in the bus. So I decided to list down the Gunpla I want to do in the not-so-far future.
What: ZGMF-X19A Infinite Justice Gundam (1/100 MG)
Why: Because I always liked the Justice. But that like never turned into really like because, well, it's pink. It outperforms everything else in melee combat. Ground, sky, space, high speed. Decent long range capabilities and holds itself well enough against multiple enemies. But it's so friggin pink! I'm gonna do this kit in ZGMF-X20A Strike Freedom's colors. THEN, it'll get the non-pink respect it deserves.
What: GN-008HW/B Seravee Gundam GNHW/B (1/144 HG)
Why: I always thought the Seravee was cool, but didn't look cool. The Virtue looked cool. Now the Seravee looks like the Virtue. Thus, coolness. Only in 1/144 HG, but I don't mind. It looks better with a backpack than a separate Seraphim.
What: O Raiser 1/100
Why: For starters, Because I have a 00 without a Raiser. I was really hoping this kit came with a GN Sword III though.
What: GAT-X105 Aile Strike Gundam (1/100 MG)
Why: No particular reason. It's Just cool.
What: RX-78GP01 Gundam GP01 (HGUC 1/144)
Why: Because I just recently watched Mobile Suit Gundam 0083: Stardust Memory, and have been really getting to appreciate more classic, pre-Wing Gundams. And the GP01 tops my list of them.
What: ZGMF-1000 Zaku Warrior Blaze/Gunner (1/100)
Why: What kind of self-respecting gunpla addict wouldn't want a battle damage Zaku? Not me. Why this Zaku particularly, is because it's the most badass of all the Zakus. And it comes with both Blaze Zaku and Gunner Zaku attachments. More weapons for kit bashing. I'll do this in a dark, olive green and black out some parts and nice battle damage and weathering effects.
What: XXXG-01W Wing Gundam Ver.Ka (1/100 MG)
Why: Because it's the best version of one of the most awesome Gundams of all time. And its got a tiny Heero. I'll follow the color scheme religiously and candy finish shiny clear coat.

The Ultimate Blog Log
Okay, I think I'm done restoring my blog. I can now confidently say that its restored and maybe exceeded its previous "glory" (if you can call it that).
Immediately to the right, is the gallery gadget. A cool little blogger gadget made by DevShare for Deviants that are also Bloggers. Good job, you guys.
Below the DevShare is the CBOX. The very same CBOX I used in this very same blog three years ago. Imagine that, I actually got to recover that info.
Yes, Gunpla images left and right. GAT-X105 Strike Gundam on the upper right, GN-005 Gundam Virtue to the left, and XXXG-01WK Wing Gundam Ver Ka. Here's a tissue, go wipe your noses.
This is the final major update for the recent revamping of this blog. And thus, The Ulitmate Blog Log. Thanks go out to you who actually read this, and for the people who did read this back then. Lastly, thanks to those guys who made those cool blog gadgets and for Blogger free skins. Gundam. I mean, Rock on.

Overflagging and Baguio
So I went to Baguio and stayed over the weekend. The trip up took seven hours (ouch) as the conventional routes have been blocked due to safety reasons. The recent Pepeng typhoon caused so much damage to the mountainous regions as Ondoy to NCR. Several roads had only one lane left and some still had two, but were just hanging slabs of concrete as the ground under it eroded.
Baguio city was business as usual. My stops were Pie's house, Cosmopolitan Hotel, SM, and a lot of shops in Session Road. Pie's house. I found out I'm allergic to labradors. What? You mean dogs? Nope. Labradors specifically. Dunno why. I've never been allergic to dogs. Nor have I been up close to a labrador. Those two things changed when I met Moonlit, Pie's labrador who just had eight adorable puppies last week.
It was a long, eventful day, that Saturday. Puppies, food, online games, comics and Magic Cards. It was like Saturday night Magic. We ended up playing until 2am in two-headed giant mode. After that, people got home and I checked back into the hotel. The accomodation came with 2 free breakfasts. Nice. So the following morning was nice XD
I checked out of the hotel at 12 noon, and cooked chicken fillets breaded in pancake batter powder for lunch. Later that Sunday, we went to church. Man, it's been so long since I went to church. Afterwards came the actual 'gala'. We had coffee in three different shops, several cakes, and of course, house specials. Also, I had lots of soup since I've been sniffling badly because of Moonlit.
So, SM Baguio... they have all the gunpla that's sold out here in Manila... Damn.
Anyway, this was a rather short post but took me 2 hours to type. Why? I'm Overflagging. Rather, I'm working on the Overflag.

Going to Baguio.
After much delay, I will now finally get to Baguio. Yay!
I'm hoping my ass off that my best friend gets to send me cash so i could stay overnight. Otherwise, it'll be a long day trip.

ArXy
ArXy is a blog by me, Arckham and my colleague and girlfriend Xylith. We've been planning this blog since summer and have pushed it back due to other priorities and much, much procrastination. But without further adieu, http://arxy.blogspot.com.
Here, we will be reviewing, previewing and just plainly posting about everything geek. Music, events, games, toys, other blogs, the internets, gadgets, and so much more. All the really important things in life. XD
Anyway, the blog is up and we're starting to fill it up. Wish us luck!
Comments and suggestions welcome. ^__^

1 successful attempt
Updates, updates, updates. So what's happened since 2006? Let's see..
On the internet.
November 2006. I was a sophomore and was madly addicted to RF online. RF continued til early this year with many other games in between. Grand Chase, Rohan, Ragnarok, Private RF's, Private RO's, Cabal, Exteel and Trickster to name a few. Friendster, Multiply, A-town, Facebook. Deviantart. I learned 1337speak and internets speak. Haxxing. Torrented a million gigabytes of games, music and videos.
My life.
Girls. Lots of em passed by. But I now have a girlfriend of a year and half by tonight at midnight. My friend and comrade in RF online, lead guitar of my next band to be, my protector from myself, partner in a new blog ArXy, and dearest love of my life. My Pie.
I finished college September of '08 and graduated summer of this year with a best thesis award. That was literally the first and only academic award I have ever received in my entire life.
In between finishing and graduating, I worked for Harte-Hanks under Telus International. That was the XBOX 360 account, thus my post last December on talking to customers. After XBOX, Windows Live OneCare, killing viruses and spyware.
Been hit by a jeepney once and fell off a motorcycle once.
Other things.
2 rock bands
5 gunpla
60~70+ Transformers (lost count)
1 pet
1 relative left the country
2 friends left the country
3 vices
2 kids (a robot and a tortoise)
4 Magic: The Gathering decks
2 stalkers
3 massive relative vs. relative combat
2 times i grew my hair long
1 house move
2 terrible natural disasters
1 terrible natural disaster that affected me severely
4 failed attempts to get this blog back
1 successful attempt to get this blog back
Just a quick update.

Of Insomnia and Bandai
I called this blog "Daydreamer" when I created it back in college because I would daydream whenever my mind idles. Sometimes even when it doesn't like in the middle of a class or walking toward the nearby malls. But now the name serves a new meaning.
"Day dreamer". Meaning I dream in the daytime coz that's when I sleep. Lawll. It's 7am and I have not slept in a day and a half.
===========
Yes, I have been into gunpla[Gundam plastic models] lately. Thank you for asking. *worships Bandai* Lewl!
I'm looking to see if I can recover my old CBox. Making new ones is a pain in the ass.

It's good to be
So I finally decided to really really return to this blog. I've posted attempts a few times and thought of it silently even more times than that. But now, finally, three years, seven layouts, five attempts, and a million sarcastic comments later, I've come back. Why? It feels right. No emotional downpour, no mental shut down, no dire need to put up a call center training piece, and certainly no pushy half-Chinese person.
Inspired? Maybe. Feeling creative? Not so much. Need to really write something? Always, but never do. The blog called me out and said: "Hey, remember this? [note:sarcasm]". And I said: "The f*ck?! My blog's talking!". Okay, none of that really happened. Not in this reality, at least.
I missed this. Maybe that's it. I miss it.
So, Daydreamer. It's back. It's good to be back.
